SCHEDULE "A"
SOUND SYSTEM, MONITORS & BACKLINE REQUIREMENTS
DAVE WECKL BAND

SOUND SYSTEM:
1. Please provide speakers and amplifiers adequate for hi fidelity type
sound reproduction of entire band. If sub woofers are present in the system,
we request they be able to be controlled separately, for volume, cross over
points, and equalization.
2. Sound Quality must be superb. The preference is more cabinets to be run
at a lower volume than fewer cabinets run loud. System should operate in
Stereo. Provide for front fill if we deem it necessary.
3. House Sound - Minimum 16 input mixing console:
A. 4 band variable frequency, selectable EQ per channel.
B. Minimum of 4 Aux. sends for effects per channel.
C. (2) 1/3 octave graphic equalizers (each side of mix) for house EQ
D. 1 PCM 70 Digital Reverb, 1 SPX 90
E. Rack of 6 stereo compressors
F. (1) CD Player
4. Microphones required: 2 Shure SM 58???s (one for Sax) - Dave will bring
other mics unless otherwise specified to be worked out with SHURE and
purchaser. If professional sound company is there anyway, they should bring
any spare mics they have in case one of ours malfunctions.

MONITORS:
Stage monitors - Minimum 4 separate mixes, graphic EQ's for each mix.
A. 4 15" full range monitor wedges
B. 2 12" full range monitor wedges


*********NO RISERS ANYWHERE FOR ANY OF THE BAND**********

POWER: Outside of the United States, adequate electrical service of 110
volts, 30 amps, 300 Watt minimum, 3 phase, with grounding.

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE PURCHASER:
1. All of the above microphones and direct boxes (please have spares).
2. Supply at least 3 SHORT booms and 3 TALL booms
3. All necessary cabling, i.e.: Snake, sub snake, Splitter, mic cables, etc.
4. A monitoring system with at least 4 different mixes.
5. Full PA Sound system adequate for the size of the Hall .
6. 1 roll, black Stage Tape (cloth duct tape)

BACKLINE

BASS:
AMPLIFIER CHOICES: (AMPEG PREFERRED)
1) Ampeg SVT3 Pro or SVT 4 Pro OR Ampeg B4 OR Any HARTKE (400 watts+) OR
Gallien Krueger 800RB.
SPEAKER CABINETS: Any cabinet with four 10 inch speakers, with a high freq.
driver. Ampeg, Hartke, SWR (No Trace Elliot Please)


KEYBOARDS:
1) 1 YAMAHA S80 - necessary, no substitutions.
2) 1 YAMAHA MOTIF 7 - necessary, no substitutions.
3) ANY TWO TIER KEYBOARD STAND.
5) 1 DRUM STOOL - ANY KIND, HEAVY DUTY.
6) 1 MACKIE 12 CHANNEL MIXER or equivalent.
7) 2 Powered 12 Speakers.

SAXOPHONE:
Shure SM58 Mic or other hi end mics to choose from and boom stand.

FOR DAVE WECKL:
1) YAMAHA - 01V MIXER (must have this)
2) 1 MACKIE 1202 MIXER OR any high quality 12 channel mixer with multiple
outputs.
3) DRUM KIT - IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE: Yamaha OAK CUSTOM, Maple Vintage or
Maple Custom, Birch Custom Absolute. Maple Custom Absolute and or Stage
Custom ADVANTAGE would be last choice.
Sizes:
-TOMS: 10x8, 12x8, 14x12, 16x14
-(2) BASS DRUMS - 22x16 and 18x16 (or 18x14 - a 20 x 16 is second choice.
Please make sure to have full front head on this second bass drum no matter
which one it is).
REMO BASS DRUM MUFFLERS, designed with Dave Weckl. 1 -22" size, and 3 - 18"
size.
-(2) SNARE DRUMS - Dave Weckl Signature Snares - 5x13 Maple Shell (MSD- 13
DW), and the Aluminum Shell 5.5 x14 (SD 355 DW).
- REMO VALENCIA SERIES BONGOS (biggest size), with short stand
- REMO 10 or 12" TOMBECK or JEMBE with short stand

Yamaha Hardware:
TH-840 tom holder in BD
1x WS-945 Double tom stands
1x WS-903 tom stand-for floor toms
5x CS-835 Boom cymbal stands
2x SS-930 snare stands
2x CH-735 cymbal holders w/booms- goes in WS945
1x HS-930 Hi Hat stand
1x DS-930 Drum seat
1x CHH-910 Closed Hi Hat (right side-in WS945)
2x DFP-9310 with the strap - Please advise if this is NOT possible!

Remo Heads AND mufflers:
-Remo COATED AMBASSADOR heads on top of toms, Clear AMBASSADORS on bottom.
-COATED Ambassador on the batter side of the bass drums. Front bass drum head
of 22" has a small hole at 4 o'clock (the standard Maple Custom BLACK head).
The 18" (or 20") should have a full front head (BLACK- Yamaha logo), no holes
anywhere.
-Ambassador (snare side head), and Coated Ambassadors on the top side of the
snare drums.
-Remo bass drum mufflers (designed with Dave Weckl- 1 - 22" size and 3 - 18"
size
-A (no slide, thin pile) CARPET THAT THE ENTIRE DRUM SET FITS ON (10x10 feet)
